About me

My name is Annemarie Limbach, and I was born and raised in Germany. In addition to German as my native language, I was fortunate enough to learn English as a second language.

Over ten years ago, I moved to Italy and immediately began offering translation services, as well as tutoring and language lessons. What initially started as a passion has now become my profession. Languages have always been my passion, which is reflected in my educational journey: I attended a language high school and continued my studies at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Genoa.

I have always had a strong passion for teaching, which allows me not only to teach languages but also the culture that accompanies them. Teaching brings me great joy, especially when I see my students grow and gain more confidence in the language.

I also had the opportunity to work for several years at a large company in Imperia, which further trained me, particularly in the field of translating more complex texts, such as those related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other specialized areas.

Today, I live in a small village in the Ligurian hinterland and am happy to be one of many Germans who have been adopted by this beautiful region and now call it home.
